This is a great opportunity to demonstrate God’s love for his people by providing essential services that will enable them to realize their individual goals. Pastor has made it clear that he envisions Urban Empowerment to be a one stop spot for everyone’s emotional, spiritual and financial necessities. Therefore, we are committed to our 5 core values which are: Discipleship, Fellowship, Worship, Ownership and Leadership. Pastor has empowered the membership to impact the community and GOD has positioned us in a place to serve his people in a spirit of excellence. Therefore, it is going to take a lot of work and commitment to accomplish the above mentioned goals. However, we are committed to the cause of winning souls for the Kingdom of God regardless of religious affiliation, ethnicity, or socioeconomic background.
Power Players meet every Tuesdays @ 7:00 at the Spot. Appointments are preferred. Members and the community are encouraged to use Power Players to advance in their education, for assistance with employment, and for entrepreneurial resources. Please contact Sam Robinson or Shannon A. Robinson Recent Power Players events would include . . . Employment Skills Training, Money Matters and up coming we have Higher Education. Higher Education will be a four week traininer geared toward assisting people with information about getting enrolled in school and obtaining financial aid, including assistance completing the student financial aid forms. |
